DCEO Workforce Data

Under the Equity Accountability System (EAS), individuals may qualify as Equity Eligible Person (EEP) through enrollment in an approved job training program, administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). This section highlights outcomes from the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) workforce training programs funded by DCEO, including program enrollment, training completion, placement rates, as well as participant demographic information. 

These visuals help illustrate the impact of clean energy workforce training pathways and their role in connecting individuals, particularly those from priority populations, to career opportunities within Illinois’ clean energy economy.

For the following programs, different stages program participants enter are defined as the following:

Applicants: Individuals who have applied to the program

Enrolled: Individuals who have received services/training for the program

Exiters: Individuals who withdrew or exited the program without successful program outcomes & those who have successul program outcomes

Successful Completers: Individuals who have successfully completed/exited

Placements: Placements in Clean Energy Jobs , RAPs,  and Advanced Training
